The Future of Fertility in 20 to 30 Years

Stanford professor Henry Greely and the author of “The End of Sex and the Future of Human Reproduction” believes that sex to procreate will be annulled in a 20 to 30 years. Instead, the method of creating new life may be simplified to nothing more than a genetic checklist and some skin samples. Current genetic screening process already allows for scanning for genetic defects and mutations but Greely predicts that a skin sample from female skill will be used to create stem cells, which creates eggs. The eggs are obviously then fertilized with sperm cells to result in a baby. There are some ethical and lawful implications of this process but there’s no doubt it could help thousands of parents-to-be with fertility issues.
