Hi Ladies, I have United Health plan and I called them and asked if they cover infertility after a reversal, and they said as long as I meet the criteria of, being married, diagnoses of infertility and TTC for one year I’m covered… When I went to my RE and when I told them that they said, “That is off because they usually don’t cover after a reversal” I called my insurance again and asked them and they said, they cover it…. But I’m just wondering if anyone was in a similar situation? Thank you

    Hi Jamie,

We are currently with United Health PPO, as of 1/1/2017. We have 7 frozen embryos, from ivf cycles covered by BCBS after reversal. We are married and once we paid out of pocket for the reversal the insurance company said we were covered. That was the only stipulation, that we attempt and pay for a reversal. Good Luck!
